CalmSpace Update: Reviewing User Test Feedback and Planning Improvements

This week I’ve been figuring out what can realistically be completed to improve the app based on both my user test results and one of my teammate’s results. Right now I’m still waiting on feedback from another teammate before I can really pin down everything that should be improved, so a lot of this week has been more about reviewing what we have so far and thinking through the next steps.

From the feedback we already have, it seems like the app is in a pretty solid place overall, but there are still some things that could be improved to make the experience better. I’ve mostly been focusing on what changes are actually realistic to complete in the time we have left and what would have the biggest impact. I do not want to start changing things just to change them, so I’m trying to be careful about what is worth improving and what should stay the same.

This week has also just been hard to manage overall. My other class has been taking up a lot of my time with paper writing, and on top of that I’ve been getting ready to say goodbye to my spouse for the next six months. That has made it really hard to juggle my time efficiently and stay locked in on everything I need to do.

Even though I did not get as much done as I wanted, I still feel like I made progress by narrowing down where the app can improve and thinking through what should be prioritized next. Once I get the last bit of teammate feedback, I should have a much clearer idea of what changes need to be made.
